Origin:
Bred by Victor Lens (1889 - 1969) (Belgium, before 1953).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1957 as 'Figaro'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet, ages to darker .  Strong fragrance.  26 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Large foliage.  

Height: up to 28" (up to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
