Gallica / Provins, Shrub.
Bloom:
Light pink, white center. Single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Tall, bushy. Medium, matte, grey-green foliage.
Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Produces decorative hips. Prune after flowering is finished.

Helga Brichet, President, World Federation of Rose Societies, 1997-2000. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While talking with John Nieuwesteeg in November 2008, he told me that 'Helga Brichet' was a OP seedling. I.e. he does not know the origin of pollen. He was irritated by the fact that the parentage complicata x complicata was given. I am changing the parentage in consequence.
