Bred by Louis Lévêque fils (France, 1883).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Mlle Suzanne Marie Rodocanachi'.

Hybrid Perpetual.

Transparent, glowing rose with silvery highlights.  Mild fragrance.  45 petals.  Large, very full (41+ petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Light green foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Not to be confused with Eugène Verdier's HP, 'Mlle. Suzanne Rodocanachi', introduced 4 years earlier. Both roses may be named for the same person, or possibly relatives. Since both roses were introduced as 'Mademoiselle', it's unlikely the roses were named for a mother and daughter.
