Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1872).
Introduced in France by Joseph Schwartz / Veuve Schwartz in 1872 as 'Madame Lacharme'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Madame Lacharme'.

Hybrid Perpetual, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Blush, ages to white .  Strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
