Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Souvenir de Lady Ashburton'.

Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, copper shading, salmon-yellow blending, light yellow blending.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Souvenir (Remembrance) would indicate that this rose honours Lady Harriet Mary Montagu (May 14, 1805 - May 4, 1857 Paris), who married William Bingham Baring, 2nd Baron Ashburton in 1823. The contemporary Lady Ashburton was Baron Ashburton's second wife Louisa Caroline Stewart-Mackenzie (March 5, 1827 Stornoway - February 2, 1903 Knightsbridge) whom he married in 1858.
