Origin:
Bred by Léon Lille (France, 1852).
Introduced in Australia by Northampton Nurseries in 1861 as 'Souvenir de Madame Lille'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Red, darker shading, crimson shading.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
