Introduced in France by Francis Dubreuil in 1883 as 'Souvenir du rosiériste Rambaux'.
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Souvenir du rosiériste Rambaux'.

Bloom:
Carmine-pink, yellow undertones, pink edges.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
