Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1928). Bred by Reynaud (1935).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1935 as 'Rose d'Amour'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'Rose d'Amour'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, yellow reverse.  Large, double (17-25 petals), open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
