Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, before 1936).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1939 as 'Martha Lambert'.

Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Ruby-red, yellow center, golden-yellow stamens, ages to violet-red .  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 0.75".  Small, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Dark green, dense foliage.  

Height: 20" to 35" (50 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for hedge or shrub.
