'Respect' rose Description

Bloom:
Deep pink. Licorice fragrance. 26 to 32 petals. Exhibition bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm). Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Heat tolerant. prefers full sun. requires full sun for best color. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
Breeder's notes:
The cross was made by my daughter when she was 7 years old. It didn't germinate until the following year when she was 8. She turned 28 in 2009! This rose is no longer available but the last I knew it was still being grown in some gardens in Chicago.
