Bred by Jean Laffay (France, before 1844). Introduced in France by Jean Laffay in 1844 as 'Comtesse Tanneguy Duchatel'.
Bloom:
Crimson, purple shading. Large, very double, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
