Introduced in Australia by Northampton Nurseries in 1861 as 'Gloire de Vitry'.

Lilac - pink.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
The breeder was located in Vitry.
