Origin:
Bred by François Fontaine (père) (France, 1859).
Introduced in Australia by Tasmania Botanical Gardens in 1862 as 'Alexandrine de Belfroy'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink, white flecks.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
