Origin:
Bred by W. Lourens (Netherlands, 1909). Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1910 as 'G. van Thienhoven'.
Bloom:
Carmine-red. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Upright.
Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
