Bloom:
White, blush shading, light yellow undertones. Strong, tea rose fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Glossy foliage. 7 leaflets.
Height: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
La Biche, as stated above is a Noisette, but as the photos attest, the rose in commerce in the USA under that name is not. Those in commerce in the US have been identified by Philip Robinson as Mlle. de Sombreuil, a Tea. An 1854 reference attributes 'La Biche' to Desprez.
