'Lady Godiva'. Paul & Son, 1908. Extremely attractive variation of 'Dorothy Perkins', with clusters of small, very double, pale pink flowers of the most exquisite tint. It is one of the finest cluster-flowering ramblers, although it has never achieved popularity. 'Christian Curle' and 'Dorothy Dennison' are practically identical with it.

Quant aux rosiers grimpants dits à grande végétation (Rosa Wichuraïana) non remontants, mais dont plusieus variétés fleurissant quelquefois à l'automne, sur la côte marocaine: entr'autres Lady Gay, Hiawatha, La Perle, Lady Godiva, Casimir Moullé; atteignant des proportions énormes, font des pousses de dix à quinze mètres dans l'année si le terrain leur convient...Souvent leur floraison de fin d'Avril et Mai dure peu, est souvent brulée par nos premières chaleurs, et nous avon remarqué que cette floraison a moins de durée qu'en France.

Hardy Climbing Roses
Lady Godiva. Hybrid Wichuraiana. (Paul & Son, 1908.) Charming, delicate pink flowers of many mingled shades, in trusses. Plant is extremely strong, hardy, and healthy.
Late. A most delightful and less hackneyed form of Dorothy Perkins. Christian Curie and Dorothy Dennison are identical with it. Lady Godiva is the most desirable of the whole Dorothy Perkins group.
