Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Jean Pernet'.

Bloom:
Deep yellow, ages to light yellow .  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  Light green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Beau jaune paille. Fleurs grandes, pleine, légèrement en coupe ; vigoureux, pour la coupe et la culture forcée.
