'Sherry Szabo' rose Description

Bloom:
Vermilion. Moderate, fruity fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Suckers on its own roots, upright. Medium, semi-glossy foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
Breeder's notes:
Sherry Szabo was a passionate lover of old and new roses and a dear friend. She enjoyed rose rustling in the CA gold country. A former Art Teacher, she served as President of the Desert Rose Society for a number of years.
This is an open pollinated seedling of a mystery rose collected by Sherry outside an old Bordello in Toulumne, CA
