Class:
Hybrid Banksia, Hybrid Californica.
Bloom:
Violet and pink. Strong, sweet-pea fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Fragrant buds.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Prefers full sun.
Breeder's notes:
This is exactly what I would have expected from this cross. Hopefully the form will improve. The bud length is very nice and the red stamens of Lilac Charm are evident. The reverse of the petals is deeper lilac.
