Bred by Moreau-Robert (France, 1869).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Madame William Paul'.

Bloom:

Deep pink to pink. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped, globular bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

Habit:

Upright.

Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm). Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
