Origin:
Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1954).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1956 as 'Magenta'.
Class:
Floribunda, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Mauve.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 5' to 6' (150 to 185cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
