'Mrs. John McNab' rose Description

Class:
Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub, Species Cross.
Bloom:
White, blush shading. Mild fragrance. 15 to 20 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, semi-double to double bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Arching, few or no prickles/thorns. Dark green foliage.
Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm). Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 2b and warmer. Very hardy. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.

Notes:
Although the breeder himself says that Rosa beggeriana was the parent, what he knew as beggeriana was actually Rosa laxa, Retzius, as established in "Mislabeling and the Birth of a Legend." See References.
