Discovered by Gysbert Verbeek (Netherlands, before 1951).
Introduced in Netherlands by Jan Spek Rozen BV in 1951 as 'Modern Times'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1956 as 'Modern Times'.
Introduced in France by Pépinières Minier in 1956 as 'Modern Times'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, pink stripes.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short.  

Height: up to 4¼' (up to 130cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
