Origin:
Bred by Dr. Georg August Christian Krüger (Germany, 1914).
Introduced in Germany by Weber & Scheuermann in 1917 as 'Rübezahl'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - crimson.  Mild fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Large foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
