Origin:
Bred by Marie aka Veuve (vve, widow) Ducher (1834-1881) (France, 1874).
Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1886 as 'Comte de Sembui'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, yellow center, silver(y) reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
