Anemone Tea Rose. Medium size, double, cup form, beautiful pink, after expanding flesh-coloured; blooms in trusses.

Shrub,
pretty vigorous, bark glossy. Branches, rather spreading ; furnished with a few large thorns dilated at the base, a little crooked, scattered. Leafstalks, thorny. Leaflets, oval, irregularly toothed ; glossy green on the upper surface, reddish on the under. Flowers, double, middle-sized, cup-shaped, in pannicles. Petals, of a beautiful pink, becoming flesh-colour after expansion ; symmetrically plaited and arranged.

Anemone Flora. very beautiful, good fragrance.
Mostly pale pink, but occasionally white outer petals, inner petals shine carmine-red, Tea fragrance, 2 in., quite double, has however, a 1/2 in wide calyx in which there are numerous stamens and pistils, the former being bent over the latter. The outer petals are larger than the inner, both are rolled, thus establishing an Anemone-form.

R. Thèa odoràta, var. Anemòne. Flower blush or pink color. The last mentioned variety [Palavicina] and this were flowered in the greenhouse of M. P. Wilder, Esq., Dorchester. This gentleman has a great taste for flowers, and his collection of roses and other plants consists of all that are choice and rare.
