Bred by Unknown Dutch origin (Netherlands, before 1821).
Introduced in Australia by F. C. Davis in 1862 as 'Duc d'Angoulême'.

Deep pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
