'Nickelodeon' rose Description

Bloom:
Red, white center. Mild fragrance. 14 petals. Small, semi-double to double, flat bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy. Small, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 1' to 16" (30 to 40cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
Justice Miniature Roses says this rose has true red outer petals that curl attractively and a pure white eye that accents the thick clump of stamens... it seems to do well in any climate and is nearly disease free... Nickelodeon was removed from the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens (ARBG) Display Trial because it was a poor performer and too close to totara.
