Introduced in Australia by Northampton Nurseries in 1861 as 'La Quintinie'.

Crimson to red, darker shading. Average diameter 3.25". Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
