Introduced in France by Louis Lévêque & Fils in 1862 as 'Baronne de Lassus de St-Genies'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red, dark red shading.  Medium, semi-double to double, cluster-flowered, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
