Royal National Rose Society, 'The Rose Annual', 1916 reads:
Lady Bowater (H.T. Walter Easlea). (Frau Karl Druschki x Pharasaer.) Strong vigorous growth. The flower, which is of the Bessie Brown type, is large, full and of fine conical form with beautiful guard petals. The colour is soft blush white suffused with apricot, and it is likely to be a fine exhibition and. garden Rose.
