Bloom:
Deep yellow. Deep caramel gold with a gold reverse. Moderate, sweet fragrance. 20 to 30 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, high-centered, spiral centers bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm). Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 11. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition, garden or specimen. Heat tolerant. prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant.
Breeder's notes:
This rose was selected for it's unusual caramel tones, as well as its ability to withstand fading (unlike many yellows). It borders the line between dwarf hybrid tea and floribunda in the same fashion that roses like Kanegem do.
Possibly extinct -- lost by the nursery trialing it.
