Notes:
Dedicated to Jean-Baptiste Marchand (November 22, 1863 Thoissey - January 13, 1934 Paris), French colonel who led in 1896 the "Mission Congo-Nil" to claim the sources of the Nile for France, coming to a stand-off at Fachoda in 1898 against Lord Kitchener.
