White, yellow stamens.  Mild to strong fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  
Habit:
7 to 9 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 2b and warmer.  
Breeder's notes:
Percy Wright gave W Schowalter 46 seedlings; this is a selection from these. This is Ross Rambler (RR) #4. "More of a R. altaica type to 3m with arching canes. Pale pink buds open to white, single, 5 petalled snow-white flowers, 7cm in diameter. Leaflets 7 to 9, forms hips but no seed" [WS notes]

A seedling from Ross Rambler, open-pollinated. Pollen parent was probably Altaica. Probably triploid.
