Bred by Victor Trouillard (France, 1856).
Introduced in Australia by Northampton Nurseries in 1861 as 'Victor Trouillard'.

Bloom:
Crimson, carmine-red shading.  Very full (41+ petals), rosette bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.
