Bred by Gebr. Leenders / Leenders Bros. (Netherlands, 1932).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1934 as 'Ludwig Oppenheimer'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson to dark red.  Strong fragrance.  up to 6 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
