Origin:
Bred by Emmanuel-Denis Buatois (France, 1922).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1924 as 'Ferdinand Dumay'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Apricot - yellow, white edges, darker center.  Camellia-form.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, dense, well-branched.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The correct spelling is probably Fernande Dumay (May 25, 1898 Ancy-le-Franc - January 15, 1979)
