One of the most disease resistant plants in my garden. It sets hips quite easily and is used extensively in hybridizing programs for its disease resistant genes. Blooms in bucket loads, continuously if dead-headed frequently. I pinch off several hundred blooms every week from two plants. Blooms are typical five petal singles of a nice rich yellow but have a fairly short bloom life, on or off the plant.
