Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1985).
Introduced in United States by Sequoia Nursery, Moore Miniature Roses Historic Archive in 1991 as 'Red Alert'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red, lighter reverse.  Mild fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, full (26-40 petals), classic hybrid tea, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..

Slight fragrance... has a normal height of 12-14 inches or more... A plant which grows and blooms satisfactorily both in greenhouse and outdoors; is good for growing in pots; and provides excellent garden decoration as well as cut flowers... Parentage: 'Orangeade' x 'Rainbow's End'... Commercial synonym: RED ALERT... Bloom Size when fully open: Small, averaging about 40 mm (15/8")... Petalage: Double--averaging about 35-40 petals... Flower longevity: Plant in pot 6-8 days or longer. Cut flowers at living room temperature 4-5 days or longer... Hips: None...
