Discovered by Takashi Kawai (Japan, before 2008).
Introduced in Japan by Perennial Co. in 2008 as 'Yametsu-hime Cl.'.

Bloom:
White edged pink..  Average diameter 0.75".  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Short, climbing, compact.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: up to 8" (up to 20cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for container rose.

Flowers of this rose remind us of those of Chinese milk-vetch (Astragalus sinicus). Its compact growth and floriferousness make it an ideal rose to be planted in a pot. It will also fit a Japanese garden, since it has a look in common with that of a wild plant. ( A Pictorial Guide to Roses published by Sodo-sha Press, 2006). Also see Modern Roses.
