Barbara Bush was one of the first three roses purchased when I started growing roses. It has been in four locations and two different states with me.(the same bush) She's a solid performing garden rose both in San Francisco bay area and Eastern WA. Long lasting cut flowers, disease resistant and hardy to zone 6a. I did have a bit of rust in SF.

That is so great that you were able to take your rose with you!!  Roses can be so resilient:)

I've known a few who rejected this rose simply because of for whom it was named. I've also known some who rejected Billy Graham for the same reason. I've found it quite interesting, though, that both of these roses have out performed the other pink roses J&P introduced around the same time. Both have been solid, healthy garden plants. I'd suggest you snap them up before they're out of production.
