Hybrid Perpetual Roses
Roger Lambelin (1890)
Because this rose is my favorite, I can't resist the urge to show this bush first to my visitors. The rich red bloom has a narrow band of white on the edge of each curly petal... like ricrac. This makes a large shrub that is so beautiful when it blooms. Feed it well.

Roger Lambelin.  H.P. A hardy Hybrid Perpetual Rose producing a full, high centered flower of deep maroon with an edging of white on each petal. The petals are serrated, reminding one of the very popular ruffled petunias. A very novel and unusual Rose. Like most of the Hybrid Perpetual Roses, it produces most of the flowers in the spring.

Hybrid Perpetual Roses
Roger Lambelin. (Mme. Schwartz, 1890.) Irregular, semi-double flowers of bright crimson, each petal margined or streaked with white. Plant of moderate growth and free flowering.
A novel and interesting Rose which, unfortunately, has almost disappeared from cultivation. Its fine blooming quality and almost unique markings make it worth keeping.
