Origin:
Introduced in United Kingdom by Royal Horticulture Society in 1824 as 'R. banksiae lutea'.
Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in 1825 as 'Rosier de Banks à fleurs jaunes'.
Introduced in Australia by Camden Park in 1850 as 'R. Banksia lutea flore pleno'.

Bloom:
Light yellow.  Mild, violets fragrance.  up to 40 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, full (26-40 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  

Height: 15' to 20' (455 to 610cm).  Width: 8' (245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b.  Drought resistant.  Prune after flowering is finished.  This rose blooms on old wood.
