'Rosa webbiana Wallich ex Royle' rose Description

Bloom:
Pink or dark red. Pale lilac pink. Moderate, linseed oil fragrance. Average diameter 2". Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Tall, arching. Medium, matte, dark green foliage. 5 to 9 leaflets.
Height: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm). Width: up to 8'2" (up to 250cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Produces decorative hips.

Notes:
Native to N. India, Kashmir, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Mongolia at moderate altitudes. Lippa is at 2438 meters/8000 ft. altitude. Probably fairly hardy with snow cover, although details are scarce. Narrow, bottle-shaped hips.
