Bred by M. Igoult (France, 1924).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Rosemary Viaud'.

Climber, Hybrid Multiflora, Polyantha, Cl., Rambler.

Bloom:

Purple - violet. Mild, fruity fragrance. 10 to 20 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, semi-double to double bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Habit:

Climbing.

Height: 12' to 15' (365 to 455cm). Width: up to 6' (up to 185cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
