Bred by Alexander M. (Alec) Cocker (1907-1977) (Scotland, 1972).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1978 as 'Royal Albert Hall'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red blend, yellow reverse.  Strong fragrance.  Large, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to rust .

Notes:
According to the New Zealand Plant Variety Rights (PVR) web page, application for a PVR Grant for this rose was made June 22, 1976 and granted June 14, 1977 (PVR Grant No. 15). The breeder's Reference for this rose is Royal Albert Hall. This PVR Grant was surrendered October 7, 1978.
