'Ruskin' rose Description

Bloom:
Crimson, ages to purple . Strong fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Upright.
Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm). Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Vigorous.

Named for the Ruskin Colony in Tennessee where Dr. van Fleet was the physician for some years. John Ruskin was born in London, England, on 8 February 1819 and died 20 January 1900.
