Origin:
Bred by Général Henri-Pierre Delaage / de Lâage (France, 1824).
Introduced in Australia by Northampton Nurseries in 1861 as 'La Moskowa'.
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Dark purple, yellow stamens, ages to violet .  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium to large, semi-double to double, reflexed, scalloped bloom form.  Ovoid buds.
