Origin:

Bred by Général Henri-Pierre Delaage / de Lâage (France, 1834).

Class:

China / Bengale.

Bloom:

Deep pink, light pink shading, red outer petals, ages to carmine-pink. Outer petals with white streak. Average diameter 3.5". Large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, reflexed bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long sepals buds.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer.
