'69-03-VRS' rose Description

Bloom:
Rose-pink and salmon-pink, light yellow center, cream streaks. Mild, carnation fragrance. 15 to 30 petals. Average diameter 2". Medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, arching, bushy, lax. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 3' to 7' (90 to 215cm). Width: 5' to 8' (150 to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Can be used for container rose, garden, ground cover or specimen. Hardy. very vigorous. drought resistant. flowers drop off cleanly. heat tolerant. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.
Breeder's notes:
This seedling was donated to the Ventura County Rose Society for their annual benefit auction in January 2009. Linda Bizelle was the higest bidder for the rights to name this rose and has chosen the name "Robert's Wondrous Ruthie' as its official name.
This is a pink sibling to 'Jeri Jennings'.
